2007-12-24. 潮式聖誕大餐
品潮軒(御用飯堂之一)
功夫茶(都是用鐵觀音)
滷水鵝片
椒鹽九肚魚
川椒雞(the green stuff is fried basil)
煎蠔餅(I have gout...I can't eat too much oyster anymore)
Satay Beef + 芥蘭
潮式紅燒豆腐煲
水晶飽(美國沒見過。皮用番薯粉做，要薄中有韌。Inside is green bean or red bean)
滷水鵝
滷水鵝掌、翼、蛋、大腸等....後面是凍烏頭魚(凍食，點潮州豆醬)
潮州凍蟹(500-600hkd each. I don't like crab anyway..too much work)

九龍城黃珍珍泰國菜
這是我們家御用飯堂之一。
九龍城是潮州幫地頭。而泰國有很多潮僑。我有幾位姨婆早年都移居泰國。香港早期的泰菜可說是潮僑帶來的。

黃珍珍has been in Kowloon City for almost 30 years. It has been in this location for about 10 years. This location used to be a 和平飯店上海菜 owned by Chow Yun Fat. In the early 90s, Chow Yun Fat's made his last movie in HK "和平飯店".
Chow lived near Kowloon City. He liked Shanghai food but there was no good Shanghai restaurant here. He used his salary for that movie to open a real 和平飯店...but it closed shop around 1997 and 黃珍珍 moved to this location.

Sorry guys. Last couple days I have been lazy...No dim sum pictures from lunch. Camera battery died. I need a smaller lens and a smaller bag for my DSLR. Sometimes I become lazy to carry a big lens around)
